A1 – At the greengrocer's

Today I am going to the greengrocer. The store is near my house. I go in and see lots of fruits and vegetables. There are red and green apples. Red apples are sweet. There are also yellow bananas. Bananas are very good. I see oranges and lemons. Oranges are acid and lemons are too. There are also some red strawberries. Strawberries are small and sweet.

I look at the vegetables. I see red tomatoes and green peppers. There are also carrots, oranges, and green cucumbers. I take a bag and put some apples, bananas and strawberries inside. The greengrocer is friendly. He asks me if I need anything else. I tell him that I also want tomatoes and carrots. He gives me everything in a big bag. I pay and say goodbye to the greengrocer. I go home happy with my fruits and vegetables.
